My Sweet Shadow is most likley the best song on In Flames' album, Soundtrack to your Escape, and one of their best creations. The way they play with the speeds in this song, ranging from peacefully slow to hard and fast screams, and with the powerful lyrics and guitars - only true artists can create something like this.

As for the lyrics in this song, they're somewhat strange. But as far as the song itself goes, I'm in love with it. It's very interesting, amazing, and just mezmerizing. It was the first In Flames song I fell in love with, and now I have many others. I love that bit of techno sound, as with the way his voice gets so strong and emotional. This song is my favorite out of any of their stuff, but there are many, many that I like. If you like this song and want to hear more In Flames, try these: Bulletride, Borders and Shading, Free Fall, Cloudconnected, Leeches, Metaphor, Take This Life, Come Clarity, Dead Eternity... there's so many great songs! In Flames is such a wonderful band and I thank my ex so much for getting me into them!

My Sweet Shadow (correct version)is not correct. The only thing thats wrong is in the first verse, the correct version says:

A wormhole??????? are you on drugs?? try listening to it again, and take the sleeve out which holds the lyrics from the original. The correct version to this is as follows:

it is a very nice song,one of my favorites.in flames has many songs that you must listen ex:Only for the weak,the quite place,touch of red,colony,bullet ride,free fall,reroute to remain,cloud connected,...Nice group ^^.i suggest you to listen these if u like this song

This song is without doubt one of the best I've ever heard. In Flames have made several songs that I find better than all the rest. Ex: The Quiet Place, Free Fall, Trigger, Only For The Weak. These are just a few examples, but many many more songs is just waiting to be heard.

Such a well-written piece about trying to forget the past, and sticking with the future. I run a webcomic online, and I have to say, this is my chosen theme-song to go with this comic. Out of everything else out there.
People need to get out of the Linkin Park and Greenday (not to diss them, just saying) and listen to what these guys have to say.
