Naer Mataron were gathered back in the year 1994 with the
aim to play pure Black Metal. Their lyrics are dealing with
the ancient Hellenic and European glory.

The founder members back then were Morpheas and Lord
Alatoth.The name back then was Nar Mataron. After various
line-up changes and the release of the "The Awakening Of
The Ancient Greece" demo and the "The Great God Pan" promo
tape, Naer Mataron signed a deal with Black Lotus Records.
Kaiadas and Lethe were by then, members of the horde.
During that time of season Naer Mataron also participated
in the "Tribute To Bathory" cd with the song
"Equimanthorn".

At the year 1997 the members of the band didn't want to
continue with Lord Alatoth and because of that they decided
that he had to leave from the band More...
