Naked Heart, hail from Castlemaine (Victoria, Australia) and are one of the regions most standout slick alterna-rock acts and have emerged from obscurity and burst onto the national scene.
The band was conceived in the 90s as a family affair when siblings Tim (Vocals/Bass) and Aaron (Drums/Electronic Perc.) began playing with their father Steve's (Keyboards/Samples) heavy rock band. The chemistry in the family ensured the lineup clicked and Naked Heart began their assault.
They take influence from artists such as Korn, Sevendust etc. whilst adding an original blend of keyboard effects, stringed harmonies and mesmerizing vocals that are both in-your-face and beautifully melodic.
Mid 2000 saw Naked Heart needing a new guitarist, and Paul Matthews was enlisted. With the Naked Heart sound complete, the band was signed by Melbourne independent label Marlin Records, who helped develop the act further with twelve months of recording, live performing and preparation for the band's first release.
Naked Heart have completed their first three track single Limb which has been produced by Jarrad Rogers and Andy Baldwin (Superheist, Lash, Killing Heidi etc.) and have begun taking their sound to the people. It has Begun. |
