Here I am,
composing a burlesque,
out of where they rest their heads,
sulking in their splintered cradles.
And ramshakled hands,
They asked for it,
As a boy,
I eat my wishes on golden tooth picks and digested them with wolf intestines,
I fell from the heavens,
As a fetish blessed with,
An operatic skeleton,
And as the stars watch me descend,
I cracked a family tree and,
Chopped off all of the branches,
(x2)
I fell from the heavens,
As a fetish blessed with,
An operatic skeleton, (x2)
And as the stars watch me descend,
I cracked a family tree and,
Chopped off all of the branches [x3]

Original:This song is amazing I have to admit - but it is only by Brendon Urie and not all of Panic! This song was from a scrapped cd referred to as the cabin album... It was put on Fall Out Boy's Welcome to the New Administration MixTape as an experiment... to see if Brendon could do music without being linked to P!ATD
Reply: Listen to AFYCSO, there is absolutely no ryan ross, not even backup vocals. So that statement is absolute rubbish.
i loved patd for a year and dicovered them by playing sing star pop i do not think they are emo, although i do have a hard time fitting them into a genre maybe alternative emo is not it.
p.s if anyone can tell me what this means, i will be pleased send it to my email
I guess we failed | Reviewer: PatdFanno1 | 8/27/09
I'm a big big big fan of patd and im completely saddened they split up. But im sick of people saying Patd will never be the same when Brendon has everything to continue the band with Spencer. He's got the vocals,he can play the guitar and write lyrics. And spencer can do the drums. So in all sense how ever much we miss Ryan and Jon Brendon and Spencer can continue perfectly. Love this song so much but we failed if this song was to see if he could sing music without being linked to Patd xD oh well

I LOVE THIS SONG! I loved Pretty.Odd. I thought it was pretty effing fantastic, as a Beatle lover I really thought it was good too! They did a great job. BUT MAN THIS SONG IS SO GOOD! Ryan did fantastic lyrics in this. I love it love it love it love it! I can't wait 'til they come back to Toronto!!!!
Oh snap! New shiiiit son!
This is the Panic! At The Disco we fell in love with. They took the amazing burlesque of a Fever You Can't.... and infused it with the adorable charm and vintage saying of Pretty. Odd. seriously, we love it ^-^ more more more.... please!

I am a huge fan of PATD... I ABSOULTLY LOVE their first album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out." And at first i ABSOULTLY HATED "Pretty. Odd." but i have came to love that album as well. BUT why in the world would they make summthn like THIS and not put it on their album... See PATD said in an interview that making musci for their second studio recorded album was very stressful blah, blah, blah and that it wasn't "fun"... BUT OMG IDK if it was that fun for fans of patd to listen to Pretty. Odd. So like they shouldve made an album with this song on it and it wouldve,if they were to then make pretty oddd, a transition between the albums...Good lyrics... they were actually completely corrrect
