    this song is wonderfully depressing and, in a way, cleansing. it paints a great image and i often cry when listening to it... but that's just me. it has this weird affect over me that is hard to explain. but it is so serene and refreshing. this is my favorite song, not just by nada surf, but in general. it is so calming and relaxing to hear. but it isn't the same old love song, but i find, much deeper than just that. i think everyone interperts it in their own way. it is a truly great song.
