Tell me it's over, Rusbel awaits I've been to the surface
And nothing is there, Eyelids sank muffled
In the nerve aura sound, But when she awakes
Will she still be with us?
My heart is darkclots, Leap year is late
How did you get here, Ask all but the babe
From a Christ that went hissing
Constricting his cells
We summon by candle by book and by bell
Glossolalia coats my skin
Glycerin and the turbulence
stuffed the voice inside of God
Mirrors to the animals
The sermon goes mourning, Pricking it's hail
Slothful the child, That preys on the seed
Shall behead the drought, Wound under sleeves
I hope you have room, In a thicket of vines
Give me a moment, To clean what you've stole
The streets will hang high, Stretch ribs and let taste
We'll cover the smell with silver nitrate
Mending the cuts of your prosthetic faith
Glossolalia coats my skin
Glycerin and the turbulence
Stuffed the voice inside of God
Mirrors to the animals
Then so long, Dear minemonic
Assume the form, You've given me and I'll spill
Now hold on, Just hold my hand
Say that they made you
But you brought your own leash
Tell me no more no, say I'm the last one
Outside, By the drift, You read my will
Of thread and itch, Failure to comply
As failure to decease
And still you won't know everything
I've built the fall
Sulking drained the fall of my pale will
Swarming by your steps
Licking the ankles of your blasphemer guilts
It only meant to drape a plastic
Over the stuck pig scalp of head
To cover the sock where to flatline had spread
The kiosk in my temporal lobe
Is shaped like Rasalyn Carter
She says my map is home again, But torn face down
I have only but a million blemishes
To tell you all about
In the end they just gagged me
To make him come out
Gas me the hind, Of your five legged snare
Tooth picks the eye, But no things there
Down drags your waltz, Cross the alter top
From a sleep that, Depravation knew
Trespass your form, I'm void of dusk
I'd ask to look, But the mask stays on
You'll levitate, Teutonic print
Cruelty is the wrath, Of my instrument
In the end they just gagged me
To make him come out
You locked the cuffs
Arsenic erupts
Will you drink the shadow
Of my red hair
You and your falst, Witness to God
You've one in the chamber,
But your finger got stuck
Let slip the sound, Of a cry for help
But all was lost, On the night you walked
Palms speak through eyes
Serve your memory lost
I cantaminate with insignias
In the end they just gagged me
To make him come out
Glassolalia coats my skin
Glycerin and the turbulence
Stuffed the voice inside of God
Mirrors to the animals
Wait till I get my hands on you
I won't forget a face that left me
Just you wait
Till I get my hands on you
I can't, You won't remember
Unwrap my corpse, And let it thaw
In the eye of the needle, I can't get out
They'll check my wrist, I'll faint a pulse
I'm not the human, You thought I was
If you pet the night, Sixth pentacle dice
If you roll the seven, St. Michael dies
They'll be no ransom, Don't shut my mouth
I scaled the answer, You're afraid of

Review about Tetragrammaton blasphemy/not blasphemy | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/4/10
as previously stated, i have no doubt that these lyrics are intended to highlight misconceptions of modern religion. For instance "glossalia" (speaking in tongues) is "stuffing the voice into god" obviously they think these practises are ridiculous.
however considering cedric doesn't believe, and that he has a lot of problems with the catholic church in particular, i think its pretty ridiculous to venture that these lyrics spread the joy and fear of god.
i agree with everyone that liked this song and this band. I f.ing hate when people say "this is nothing compaqred toZappa""" is not the idea, asshole,. and if you care much to read, pleas dont. no one ask you for your crap. grate comments, genius sound like this. fuck everyone who dont like it.
Tetragrammaton means Gods actual name. In hebrew it was made up of 4 consonants which was later translated as Jehovah in english. Which the catholic church is trying it's hardest to erase the name of God from all bibles. Cedric was, I think, trying to find meaning to the word and the actual catholic church. Read the last part of the lyrics where he says "if you pet the night, sixth pentacle dice, if you roll the seven, st. Michael dies." what I'm thinking that religion puts so many boundaries that instead of relieving you, it adds more stress. That's my take but only that part of the lyrics, whoever wants to take on the whole song, be my guest.
blasphemy | Reviewer: j | 3/7/09
If its not blasphemy, then I don't want to listen to it. I don't think jesus would have this song on his ipod. i dont cedric came up with the lyrics while in mass.i hope embedded with it are blasphemous intentions.

"It shouldn’t really be that important what the word is, so later I’ll try and fit words to the gibberish I did, because I think the gibberish is a lot more honest than the words - so I’m just trying to put clothes onto something that’s naked. It’s easier to just put clothes onto something that’s naked and just say ‘Yeah, that’s what I meant’, when everyone else seems to come up with a better interpretation than what I intended. And sometimes some of that gibberish is retained in the final product. "
Don't forget... | Reviewer: J.H. | 11/9/08
...all of the sexual metaphors in Cedric's lyrics...
There are multiple stories here, all for those who have been tormented by abuses of religious authority.
Don't forget to interpret his images in the context of how he repeats symbols throughout the different albums. Though this album is supposedly disconnected songs, Cedric carries certain images through every album. Weaves them through the songs.
no one is wrong, no one is right. this is art and you can interpret is however it suits you. whatever your argument you uphold for the song will only reflect who you are and what you consider important. you only do yourself a disservice in judging. if you want to gain more than some self-serving validation, try seeing how you can understand the song, rather than trying to fit it within some predetermined context. see how it makes sense for you and just like any other work of art, you'll benefit from it. otherwise, you're just wasting your time with sophomoric judgment calls. it's whatever you want it to be, so make the best of it if that's what you want for yourself.
NOT BLASPHEMY! | Reviewer: Jeff Mathews | 12/15/07
Listen. This is not blasphemy in any way shape or form! Listen to the man studying Theology, for heaven's sake! If you would look on Wikipedia you would understand that this album was meant to praise God and spread fear of him! Like Fred said, the lyrics are allusions to scripture: "It is easier for a camel to pass through the 'eye of a needle' than for a rich man to enter Heaven."
It you people wouldn't be so ignorant perhaps you'd get that.
And to that "Armageddon" quote, no one knows when the coming of God will be. It could be tomorrow, it could be next week, or maybe even 100 years into the future! That just pisses me off.
"TREND" | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/5/07
its not another song in a "TREND to blaspheme God's name in as bold and wreckless a way as possible" The entire album is about how we are told only to fear God, and how the church uses that fear to manipulate us, but really we are supposed to love him and feel his love.
Its not blasphemy | Reviewer: Fred Manning | 9/22/07
I study Theology and i have to do this all the time...studying the words written about religion! and i can tell you that in my opinion that it is not blasphemy at all! if you read closly you will see he is having a dig at the current perspective of religion how we are chasing "shadows" and the reference to "eye of a needle" comes from some of jesus words...that it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle! again having a dig at the misconception of religion these days...please tell me if im wrong but i'm pretty sure thats what he was going for! Also its a pretty bad boy tune!!!
