Since its formation in early 1996, the Pat McGee Band's

Review about Pat McGee
I Know.... | Reviewer: Jean
------ About the song I Know performed by Pat McGee
This song, as performed by The Pat McGee Band, is worthy of comment. Lyrics are pensive, and take the listener into a very private place. The music is the water on top of which the words gently float.
Not lost is the profound talent of the vocals and musicians to convey and elicit these feelings in this piece.
The words,
"I know I won't be there tomorrow, baby and now
I know I wasn't there today
These times are harder than they used to be and now
I'm fine if you're still thinking of me"
are especially tender to me, as I am reminded of my deceased husband and how he promised to help me through these days after his death from a long battle with cancer. Thank you. Thank you for making me feel as if Dan has whispered into my ear.
