Remember a day Lyrics - Pink Floyd
Review The Song (2)
Remember a day before today
A day when you were young.
Free to play alone with time
Evening never come.
Sing a song that can't be sung
Without the morning's kiss
Queen - you shall be it if you wish
Look for your king
Why can't we play today
Why can't we stay that way
Climb your favorite apple tree
Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun
Why can't we blow the years away
Blow away
Blow away
Remember
Remember
A day when you were young.
Free to play alone with time
Evening never come.
Sing a song that can't be sung
Without the morning's kiss
Queen - you shall be it if you wish
Look for your king
Why can't we play today
Why can't we stay that way
Climb your favorite apple tree
Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun
Why can't we blow the years away
Blow away
Blow away

This song is truly one of my favorites. All of Pink Floyd is deeply respected by me, the lyrics is what caught me in the first place. This is the only song where all five members are credited and playing, with Syd on the slide guitar. Richards vocals are haunting and reminding, don't let time pass us by!
With deep respect I can say I love Pink Floyd, they have formed me as a person.
I miss you Richard.
Rest in peace Richard... | Reviewer: EugeneIsNotCareful | 10/12/11
Nice song, nice lyrics...
When I was listening this song for first time,
It was at night, and I din't sleep well at that night...
And I was crying...
Well, crying I'm still...
Goodnight Rick...
Miss you...
Wish you were here from Prague...
