It's a stream of consciousness, a raw reflection of someone's thought process. Think of it like this: when you're reading a book, while the narration might be extremely poetic, thoughtful, and full of fancy literary techniques, the dialogue will not be (unless the only people who speak in the book are all writers). And that's what this is: someone's internal dialogue. That's what makes this song amazing: it just feels so real.
