Scent of Flesh was formed in year 2000 at Imatra, Finland.
The music style of Scent of Flesh is raw and aggressive
death metal with some melodic influences.

In january 2001 the band recorded their first demo-cd
called ”Drowned into the Darkness” at Digibone studios with
three axemen.

”Drowned into the Darkness” got much attention and quite
good reviews all around.

Somewhere in time of summer 2001 Markus Toivonen moved to
Tampere, Finland and he had to leave the band. Rest of the
band started to seek replacer to Markus, but any
substantial guitarist was not found, and the band decided More...
