Spite & Malice Lyrics - Placebo
Review The Song (6)
Revolution, dope, guns, fucking in the streets (x2)
Aces take your time
Queens are left for dead
Jacks can stand in line
And touch themselves instead
Aces take your pity
And keep it warm in bed
Aces take your time
Cut the deck
The queens left for dead
Soft and wet, scarf tied to the bed
Jack is all tragic when he stands alone
Feeling demonic harmonic in a no go zone
You look well suited like you came to win
Lust, spite and malice, your degrees of sin
Cruising for pity and looking pretty as fuck
Ace take your chances
Queen wish you luck
Aces take your time
Draw your final breath
Jacks are feeling fine
They've clubbed themselves to death
Aces take your pity
You sleep with it instead
Aces take your time
You can play your card, I'll hold onto mine
Tied up in the reasons, Ace take your time
Looks turn to lovers, flames into fires
Jack loves his tragedy, Queen her desires
You look well suited like you came to win
Lust, spite and malice, your degrees of sin
Wrap me in your trauma and I may just give you mine
Queen take your chances
Ace take your time
Dope, guns, fucking in the streets (Revolution)
Everything will blow tonight
Either friend or foe, tonight
Cut the deck
The queens left for dead
Soft and wet, scarf tied to the bed
Jack is all tragic when he stands alone
Feeling demonic harmonic in a no go zone
You look well suited like you came to win
Lust, spite and malice, your degrees of sin
Cruising for pity and looking pretty as fuck

Not sure... | Reviewer: >.> | 12/11/10
So my favorite album was Meds. That and Once More With Feeling are some of the most artistic stuff on the planet. But I don't like the rap part of this... if I wanted to listen to Rap Rock I'd listen to Linkin Park, when I want Placebo I want Placebo. Battle for the Sun and The Neverending Why were Placebo... I'm not sure about this song.
Amazing Song | Reviewer: Logan | 1/22/10
I agree wholeheartedly with Derek about Battle for the Sun, it took me awhile to even listen to the album after hearing the first couple tracks. There are two worthy songs and the rest just seem like something meant for the cutting room floor. I wouldn't say Placebo has changed their sound I would say they have just became a product of their new fan-base which most bands tend to do nowadays... Every other album is solid with the exception of MEDS, which even though I like all of the songs on the album its not to the standard they held on the previous albums.
I can't help loving it... | Reviewer: Placebo=<3 | 12/26/09
I cannot help loving every one of Placebo's songs. If they ever made a bad one, I obviously wouldn't like it, but I think that is impossible. What's so great about them is even if lyrics aren't so great [which they usually are] Brian's voice always seems to make up for it, as well as their great instrumental talent. Their new album is fabulous! Although I don't find the lyrics to be as meaningful as previous albums, it still sounds great. I love that their style changes from album to album, it keeps them from turning into Coldplay. [Boring!] Basically, they are such a fantastic band that I love all their music, their sound is always amazing.

I actually like that placebo changes their style.
That's the beauty of placebo. They're capable to make changes, but yet not completely lose their identity as a band. IMHO this is partly the reason
why they have been around for more than a decade.
Can't decide whether I like it or not | Reviewer: Trina | 11/21/09
It's strange to hear Placebo doing rap. Also Derek, which two songs where you referring to? I personally love Battle for the Sun, it's probably my favorite Placebo album, Kitty Litter is my favorite song on it.
Revolution! | Reviewer: Derek ! | 11/2/09
Old school Placebo when they actually used to be a cold grungy band with meaning. This song is different from any of the placebo songs you will hear. Dope ass drum track with a rap chorus and Mr. Molko's eerie soothing vocals. one of the only song you will hear from these guys with any hip hop influence. Their new album battle for the sun minus 2 songs can be thrown in the emo garbage can forever. Listen to the song Bulletproof cupid and listen to them now. Thats what i used to love
