Gorbel bares his soul using his soaring voice and
intricately worded narrative, while multi-instrumentalist
Aaron Kamstra augments the melodies using an assortment of
synths, organ and piano parts. Drawing on an electic range
of influences that includes Elvis Costello, Bright Eyes and
Jeff Buckley, The Honorary Title combines raw emotion with
pop hooks and remarkably poetic lyrics to write songs that
defy simple genre classifications. The bands indie

------ About artist/band The Honorary Title
Okay, basically I am completley and deligently obsessed with the honorary title. I love them so much. I have seen them live twice, and they sound much better much much much better live. I actually cried after the second time I saw them. I know i prob sound like some fat girl eating reeses by her computer but honestly, i dont care. Jarrod Gorbel is amazing and his voice is so fucking strong and just, simply amazing. The best song is proboblly Cats In heat, and Cut short is perfect. Okay tjos review is so creepy and lame. Hahaha. But seriously, the honorary title is just... just well, you know :)
The honorary title is just about the greatest bands ever. The lyrics, vocals and music is over all just fantastic. I found THT on purevolume a while ago and fell in love with them. If you ever get the chance take a listen and fall in love.
*Of course music prefrance will also be a factor of how you feel about the band.
The honorary title is just absolutely amazing. Vocals, lyrics and just the music all together is fantastic! I found these guys a while back on purevolume and just fell in love with them. Take a listen and you'll be amazed (depending on your music prefrence though)

------ About the song Everything I Once Had performed by The Honorary Title
at the end of the song, it is supposed to say "it's over with you my beautiful", not "it's over with you're my beautiful".
THT is easily one of the best bands today. their lyrics are so complex and Jarrod Gorbel has an amazing voice. they are great live too. listen to them and you'll be mesmorized. trust me.
Ok well I saw them on MTV2 one night really late... and I only saw the last 30-45 seconds of the song and was hooked. The song was Everything I Once Had... Man that song talkes to everyone. I just saw them live in Manhattan, NY at this club called Tonic and trust me... I was glued to them... I couldn't even move... Mind you I took pictures of them but not with them... am I freaking crazy... there are other people in my pix... grrr but they did sign my CD so I didn't totally lose my mind. Well all I have to say is I know that it won't be too long now they are going to blow up like crazy. Jarrod is hot but shorter then I thought... he looks very long in the pictures and video but still hot... Aaron he is soo cute and sweet and kept thanking us for coming to see them... aww Jarrod it the joker he is funny as heck... (I don't know if I can say H E double Hockey sticks... lol). LOVE EM' LOVE EM' LOVE EM' and you will too.
