The ordinary boys are from woking but are mainly known for there occupation in sunny Brighton, they have had hits with Seaside, Boys will bow boys, Nine2five, lonely at the top, and I luv u and in my belief have released the best pop album of 2003 - over the counter culture. The ordinary boys have succedded in there efforts to bring a mod culture and mod sounding music back to britian, as ten years ago you would never have seen a band wearing a fred perry and jeans with short hair, it was long haired "rockers". But where tob have fell is that success has undoubtly changed them, or more to say there lead singer sam preston, unfortunately im a fan of the band and of prestons but it is with out a doubt that the bands downfall has been largely due to prestons downfall...
