Thirdmoon (Austria/France) was formed in the year 1994. In
the beginning, it was meant to be a side project, but it
turned out to be more. Wolfgang (Guitars and Vocals),
Markus (Bass and Key) and Milan (Drums) have recorded their
first album "Grotesque Autumnal Weepings" (Melodic Black
Metal) on CCP Records in autumn 1997.

In spring 1998 Matias, from Bayonne (the Basque Provinces)
joined the band as an inspiring guitar player.

1999: Thirdmoon signed a contract with Napalm Records and
the 2nd Album "Aquis Submersus" (Dark Metal) was released.
After personal conflicts, Milan has been replaced by
Johannes.

In the year 2000, the 3rd Album "Bloodforsaken" (Dark
Metal) was promoted by a tour with the german "Eisregen"
(coolest guys) and special guests: "Sturm" and More...
