People have different outlook on the songs. The way they put the lyrics can have many possible outcomes. The band don't give a damn about opinions. They do this to make themselves happy. Hardly a Feel Good song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/12/09 I doubt few people actually know what inspired them to write this song. Originally the song was about one of the band members cousins being a drug addict as shown in the first shoot of the video. The second shoot was the mud skipper dying video that can only be seen online. And the last video was a reworked video for Amnesty International, covering third world poverty and violence in foreign countries for profiteering and such. The video shows real people who have come to the US after HORRIBLE experiences in other countries, including a rape victim now an expecting mother of her first child, a man nearly fed to a lion who is now a vet, and a man who was shot by persecutors several times, but has moved on. Really a feel good song? Wake up bands write songs to make people AWARE, and clearly some fans of 10 Years are ignorant and not about their message, I've met the band and I don't think they would approve.
