If you are with an addict or are a serious co-dependent (meaning you chase your addict around and are addicted to that vicious cycle until you are insane and reach an emotional "bottom")...then you may be familiar with 12 step programs. To me, it fits my situation. You have to admit you are powerless and weak in the first step. It's step one.
