Withered Beauty (hereafter called WB) was formed in mid 1993 by members Magnus Björk and Daniel Bryntse. WB had an ancestor in a band called Complicity in the year of 1992 but were now a side project to doom metal band Forlorn. The material that Magnus and Daniel had written didn’t fit in with the music that Forlorn played and WB was formed. In January 1994 Tobias Björklund joined the band and a couple of months later a first demo was recorded, "Screams from the forest". It contained eight song, some from the days of Complicity and some were even written before those days, and other newly written material. The style was mainly melodic death/black metal. The demo wasn’t distributed very much so no label got in touch with WB. About a year later in April 1995 a s More...
