Worthless United was formed in 1993 by bassist Scott and
vocalist Dave. After many years of lineup changes and a
very successful 1995 demo, Worthless United became a stable
rock 'n' roll unit in 1996 with the permanent addition of
Zak as a guitarist/vocalist and recorded another demo of
new material. Shortly after that Scott's older brother,
Steve, signed up to play drums and Worthless United quickly
became a fixture in the budding New Brunswick hardcore-punk
scene and a favorite live act throughout their home state
of New Jersey.

In a scene divided by cliques and strict genres, Worthless
United paved their way by crossing over, under, and through
all the lines by playing honest and passionate punk rock
