Based out of the VA Beach region, Wu-Syndicate (Joe Mafia,
Myerlansky, and Napoleon) having been hammering out hip-hop
tracks for a number of years. Formerly known as Crime
Syndicate, the group formed their own independent label,
Slot Time Records. They hooked up with local producers DJ
Devastator, Tata, and The Dread cutting demos and pressing
singles.

In 1998 the group got its first break with the track "Where
Was Heaven",
featured on the compilation album "The Swarm"
(Wu-Tang/Priority records. "The Swarm" peaked at at #4 in
Billboard Rap Albums Chart. Wu-tang/Priority records plans
to release the groups debut album, "Syndication" on April
20th.
